Bugged - episode 1x16 (2x04 on Lifetime)

Synopsis

When deaths begin happening at, "The Underground", a local goth club, Coreen brings Vicki in to investigate. Vicki discovers that, although the deaths seem to have been caused by a swarm of bugs, they might in fact have been murders ... And that the murderer might be demonic in nature. And meanwhile, Henry is dealing with the fact that another vampire seems to be hunting in his territory ... and endangering the whole life he's created.

Coreen: Underground! I have to go change - I can't go, looking all corporate like this!

Henry: I've got a life.
Vicki: I thought you were dead.
Henry: I'm busy

Coreen (in full goth outfit): You're wearing THAT?
Vicki (in jeans and a grey top): You're wearing THAT?

Gothguy looks at Vicki and sneers
Vicki: What?

Wynter: Taking a walk on the wild side?
Vicki: Unfortunately ... I live there.

Mike: Now this - is truly a surprise!
Henry: I need your help detective.
Mike: Well, I don't do parking tickets.
Henry: It's not about parking tickets.
Mike: Really? You must want to know what to get Vicki for her birthday. You know what - between you and me - she really loves kitten posters.
Henry: This was a mistake

Henry: Isn't your job to "Serve and Protect"?
Mike: Actually, I don't think that motto was meant to extend to the undead.

Henry: Her neck had been savaged and she was drained of all her blood.
Mike: So - what? This is the vampire equivalent of a gift basket?
Henry: It wasn't a present. Vampires are solitary creatures - it's in our nature. It keeps us from overpopulating and depleting our hunting grounds. He wants my territory!
Mike: Does Vicki know about this?
Henry: No - and I don't want her to know. I've been targeted, and that puts everyone who's close to me in danger.
Mike: Oh gee - thanks for bringing me into this. Okay - if only one of you can work this town, how do I know I won't like this other vampire more than you?
Henry: Because I'm the devil you know, detective.
Mike: Yes, you are ... Okay, okay. Two conditions... one: we find this thing, we put it down.
Henry: I wouldn't have it any other way. What's the second?
Mike: Full disclosure. I ask you something, you answer. I want to know what color your underwear is, you tell me, you got it?
Henry: Red, silk actually.
Mike: I'm not actually asking, Fitzroy.
Henry: When do we start?
Mike: Soon as someone phones the police about a dead body.
Henry: Got a quarter?

Vicki: Wait a minute - it usually takes a few minutes of sparkling repartee before you give up anything.
Mike: I'm trying to be nice - is that a crime?

Henry: In the late seventeen hundreds, a vampire ensconced in a Polish village found himself under siege. By another vampire .. who had set out to take over his territory.
Mike: And don't tell me - they both wound up killing each other?
Henry: That would have been preferable. The newcomer methodically disassembled the life the first vampire had so painstakingly created - he killed friends and aquaintances, lovers - those closests to him were the first to die.
Mike: Which one were you?
Henry: The one still alive.

Mike: Speaking of arousing suspicions - do you often stand her up to go meet with your editor in the middle of the night?

Mike: Keep in mind Fitzroy - I'm not doing this for you. I don't even like you.
Henry: Since we're affording each other the courtesy of bluntness - I don't like you either. Vicki seems to trust you with her life - that's good enough for me.

Vicki: People will try anything if they think it's gonna get them high. Do you remember a few years ago, people were licking the back of Cane Toads.
Dr. Mohadevan (smiling): Do I!

Vicki: Are you going to tell me or what?
Dr. Mohadevan: Why wouldn't I tell you? It's Gabrielle Clairmont.
Vicki: Oh, okay.
Dr. Mohadevan: The thing I'm not supposed to tell you, is that this may have something to do with Henry Fitzroy.
Vicki: Oh. (making scouts' honor salute) Trust me.

Mike: Oh and one other thing. If this photographer does lead us to the vampire, how do we stop it?
Henry: I'll take care of that.
Mike: Oh really?
Henry: What? Surely, detective you don't have a problem with vampire and vampire violence?
Mike: Uhh, what if this vampire is stronger than you? (Henry gives him a look)
Mike: Come on Henry, anything is possible here, okay? I just want to know how to kill the thing. (Henry disbelievingly stares at Mike)
Mike: Look, (making scouts' honor sign) I swear that if I ever try to kill you again, I won't use any method that you tell me about.
Henry: Strangely enough detective, I believe you.
Mike: Thank you.

Mike: Come on, I've seen the movies. Give me something special, here.
Henry: What... like a secret word that makes our heads explode?
Mike: That would work. Is there one?
Henry: No.

Mike: What about Holy Water?
Henry: No.
(Mike pulls a vial of water from his pocket and leaves it behind)

Henry (to Mike): Shall we ... Renfield?

Vicki: Alright - who's going to tell me what's going on?
Mike: It's best if you don't know.
Vicki: Best if I don't know what?
Henry: Telling you would kinda defeat the purpose of "It's best if you don't know".

Coreen: Is this your way of apologizing - or are you just trying to avoid having your hair dyed black?
Vicki: Is it okay if it's a little of both?

Wynter: Didn't you know? Your friend has a powerful enemy. It's open season on her and I wanted to be the one to do it.

Wynter: It'll take a lot more than that to beat me bitch.
(Wynter is kicked by Vicki then gets run over by a van. Vicki approaches the stained front window and as the wipers clean it Henry appears)

Mike: Who the hell is Christina?
Vicki: Trouble.

Trivia

The episode was originally called "Ladybug".

Cane toads: Since the Cane Toad excretes bufotenin in very small amounts, and other toxins in relatively large amounts, toad licking could result in serious illness or death.

Renfield: Is the name of Dracula's insect-eating assistant in the novel by Bram Stoker.
Men suffering from Renfield Syndrome believe they are vampires.

Questions

In the begining in the alley, Evan repeatedly calls his friend Dante, and Lexi also mentions Dante, but there's no Dante on the credit list, only a Gene. Dr. Mohadevan calls him Gene Hanson.

In that Polish village - which vampire do you think Henry was? If he had been the one living there, why wouldn't he have have told Mike so? I figure he keeps quiet because he was the killer trying to take over the territory.
