Synopsis


Vicki has a new client, Paul "Dirty" Deeds, an unorthodox cop she and Mike worked with. What puts this case firmly into Vicki's world is the case Paul wants her to investigate ... His own murder. As Vicki and her ghostly client investigate, they find out that the case may be more complicated than anyone dreamt. And that Paul might not even really be dead.

The raw meat sandwich Deeds was eating was actually watermelon with fake blood.

The Ekimmu at Monstropedia

We haven't seen detective Dave for several episodes, but when Mike is doing surveillance on the Dragons he communicates with Dave - "Hey Dave - it's me".
So Dave is still around ...

Serpico was a movie from 1973 about an undercover cop. It starred Al Pacino and was based on a true story. It was also a 1976 TV series starring David Birney.
Serpico was an honest New York cop who exposed corruption in the force.

Kyle Schmid starred in a 2000 movie, Alleycats Strike!

It seems that cops are prompt to marital problems - first Dave, now Deeds.
