While being bound to the cross, actor Kyle Schmid struggled so vigorously that he broke the stunt chains several times.

Vicki's and Henry's stunt doubles aren't the same ones as in part 1.

A Chinese warlord had the Illumination del Sol created to control his daughter who had been turned into a Chiang-Shih - a Chinese vampire. An artificial sun to control her. Clockwise deactivates the device, counterclockwise, it destroys the heart.

Goof: When Mike picks up the key from Javier's hand, it's on a chain - in all later shots, it's not.
